Every year, Petrusse provides lessons of free artistic expression in the school of Niodor, Senegal. Petrusse used some of the hundreds of drawings created by children to design a collection of scarves and stoles : the capsule collection ILAE.
From Senegal to Chateau Mauriac
Monday 24th October, Petrusse unveiled her capsule collection ILAE in presence of the Consul General of Senegal in Bordeaux, Mr. Abdourahmane Koïta. A perfect day highlited by sharing and Africa to discover the drawings of children translated into fabrics. Guests could only be amazed by the scarves and stoles. SALOUM and PACCIALE are already available online.
Despite the rain, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly : wine tasting from Château La Fleur de Boüard and Château Laurence, Senegalese lunch offered by Barclays, with the hosts and hostesses from Tunon.
Several texts from authors such as Senghor and Aimé Césaire have been declaimed by Gabriel Okoundji, Didier Honno, Michèle Charrier, Claude Lesbats, Brice Mollereau et Petrusse around the fireplace and accompanied by a sweet african music.
