2023 REVIEW
Concrete results today and for tomorrow: CSR, the cornerstone of our development.
Our purpose? To protect, support, reveal. With full awareness of our time and its challenges. Each of our scarves carries meaning and history.
ACT 2 AND TWICE THE IMPACT
CSR is the cornerstone of our development, shaped by our attachment to the world of art and a deep respect for heritage, nature, and people. We build to last, brick by brick, ecological, ethical, and social foundations.
We create with respect for our values - freedom, creativity, responsibility - thinking of our customers and partners with the awareness that each piece will be passed on to future generations. By nature, our creations are evolving, mixed, multi-purpose, and therefore durable.
OUR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Thus, our development and actions are structured around three pillars: the environment (local roots), creations (products designed to last), and people (lasting relationships).
Five years ago, on April 2nd, I took over Petrusse with the desire to steer the trajectory of this House towards a more responsible and sustainable path. Today, the entire team is by my side, happy to share the considerable progress we have made in terms of local roots, commitment, and particularly the recognition of our efforts in the "Made in France" field.

WE ARE ALL COMMITTED TO MADE IN FRANCE
Trace, measure. Transparency and certification and labelling processes
CSR, the cornerstone of our development, ecological, ethical, and social foundations built for even greater impact. Meaning:
- Strengthening our ties with our environment by integrating the entire value chain of Maison Petrusse, starting with the entire Petrusse team, from the workshops to our boutiques, as close as possible to our customers.
- Responsible and reasoned production. Everything that can be manufactured in France must be manufactured in France.
- A team committed to common values: freedom, creativity, responsibility
LOCAL ROOTS
Our workshops are located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyard, at Château Mauriac.
These roots remind us every day of our convictions and help us stay on course. Always more meaning, proximity, quality, and transparency.
In 2019, we began a transition towards Made in France by favoring local and responsible production. This was even more concretely reflected in our collections in 2023.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTS DESIGNED TO LAST
Our timeless creations are designed to last and be passed down from generation to generation.
We meticulously choose our partners, manufacturers, and printers who are committed to respecting animals and the environment.
We optimize the printing of our materials and recycle our scraps by upcycling them in our workshop.
Our materials are durable and carefully chosen, favoring certified and labeled materials that stand the test of time, such as:
- The linen of our stoles is Master of Linen certified, chosen for its strength qualities with naturally strong fibers. It is 100% harvested, woven, and manufactured in France.
- The organic cotton of our stoles is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. It consists of naturally robust fibers that withstand daily wear and tear, and resist degradation over time.
- We only use faux fur, and our feathers come from birds raised for food purposes in accordance with the Washington Convention.
We prioritize limited editions. During the manufacturing process, we carry out checks at each stage to ensure impeccable quality.
The implementation of a traceability process for our manufacturing chain involves continuously improving our supplier charter each year.
We reduce our carbon footprint by collaborating with local partners whenever possible, particularly for the production of our packaging and communication materials.
RECOGNIZING AND CERTIFYING
OUR STOLES AND SCARVES
This year, we went even further in our approach to French creation and production. To guarantee and certify our creations designed, drawn, and composed in France, we obtained official "Made in France" recognition.
Our commitment: to responsible and reasoned production.
We set ambitious goals and achieved them, notably by obtaining the Coq Vert label; a community launched by Bpifrance in partnership with ADEME and the Ministry of Ecological Transition. It recognizes our eco-responsible and committed approach.
PACKAGING
- We maintain a trusting relationship with a local partner, certified "Imprim'VERT".
- Our packaging is made in France for products manufactured in France and certified PEFC or FSC depending on the printed products.
- We produce fewer catalogs; our packaging is evolving, permanent, and timeless. The paper is produced respecting sustainable forest management and using vegetable inks and eco-responsible varnish. They are FSC certified.
- We have reduced the formats of our web shipping boxes by 12% and optimized our pouch and carton formats and folds to avoid empty spaces.
