BILAN RSE 2024 : UNE MAISON ENGAGÉE

CSR REPORT 2024 : A MAISON WITH A MISSION

Maison Petrusse
23/05/2025

CSR REPORT 2024 - 3rd CSR REPORT

CSR, the cornerstone of our development, ecological, ethical, and social foundations built for ever greater impact.

  • We strengthen our ties with the environment by integrating the entire value chain of Maison Petrusse — starting with our team, from the ateliers to our boutiques, closest to our clients.
  • Responsible and thoughtful production. Everything that can be made in France must be made in France.
  • A committed team united by common values: liberty, creativity, responsibility

TRACK and MEASURE: traceability and transparency
LABEL AND CERTIFY : COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS DESIGNED TO LAST

Our timeless creations are designed to endure and be passed down from generation to generation.
We carefully select our partners (committed to respecting animals and the environment).
We optimize the printing of our materials and recycle our scraps by upcycling them within our Maison’s ateliers.
Our materials are durable and chosen with care, favoring certified and labeled fibers that stand the test of time, such as:

  • Our 100% linen shawls are woven in France and certified Master of Linen. Our linen is selected for its strength and naturally strong fibers.
  • The organic cotton in our shawls is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. It consists of naturally durable and robust fibers that withstand daily wear and uses 91% less water than conventional cotton.
  • Our furs are entirely synthetic, and our feathers come from birds raised for food purposes in accordance with the Washington Convention.

We favor limited editions and control every step of production to ensure impeccable quality.
The implementation of a traceability process in our manufacturing chain involves improving our supplier charter every year.
We reduce our carbon footprint by collaborating with local partners whenever possible, especially for the production of our packaging and communication materials.

GAIN RECOGNITION AND ACHIEVE CERTIFICATION

This year again, we have continued our efforts in our approach to French creation and production in order to guarantee and certify our designs — imagined, drawn, and composed in France. We can guarantee “Made in France” for many pieces, including one of our iconic creations, awarded in 2024: Maison Petrusse was a laureate of the Great Exhibition of Made in France at the Élysée – Presidency of the French Republic.

Our commitment: to responsible and mindful production.

Dedicated to inspiring and taking action, since 2023 we have been part of the Coq Vert community launched by Bpifrance in partnership with ADEME and the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

It recognizes our eco-responsible and committed approach.

PACKAGING

  • We maintain a trusted relationship with a local partner certified “Imprim’VERT.”
  • Our packaging is Made in France for French-made products and is PEFC or FSC certified depending on the printed materials.
  • Our packaging is adaptable, lasting, and timeless. The paper is produced with sustainable forest management practices and printed using plant-based inks and eco-responsible varnish. All packaging is FSC certified.

INITIATE, UNITE, BRING TOGETHER

ART & EDUCATION

  • Support for initiatives in favor of art and education, participation in key moments of the French artistic and heritage calendar such as exhibitions and partnerships with museums and institutions, accompanied by sponsorship actions: shared products, time donations, and team involvement: Opéra National de Bordeaux, Orgues de Castillon...
  • Opening our ateliers to young audiences to inspire vocations and share our passion as well as moments of joy and conviviality.

NATURE & LOCAL ENVIRONMENT

  • In tribute to and support of the work of firefighters, especially during the devastating wildfires in July 2022 in the Landes region, we decided to create a shawl inspired by a work of Rodolphe Martinez, with a portion of the proceeds donated to them.
  • A collection benefiting the works of the Orphans’ Ward (ODP Pompiers ) has also been developed.

LOCAL SOLIDARITY & SUPPORT FOR CAUSES CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS: A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT

Creation and sale of shawls benefiting various associations; notably: Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, ROSE UP — an organization that informs, supports, and defends the rights of women affected by any type of cancer, throughout France.

Creation and reissues of scarves sold to benefit major causes (Bleuet de France, etc.).

Maintenance of our premises by an ESAT, enabling people with disabilities to engage in professional activity while receiving medical-social and educational support in a protected environment.

IN 2025, A NEW, EVEN MORE RESPONSIBLE CHAPTER BEGINS...
